PLAYER RATINGS: Fulham vs Manchester City

Hart – 6.5

A generally solid game coupled with a few decent saves. Had absolutely no chance with both goals today. Should expect to start the next game.

Clichy – 4

Starting at right-back due to the injuries to Micah Richards and Pablo Zabaleta, Gael had a poor game. He looked shaky throughout the night and offered little offensively. He also made a few errors of which one was punished.

Kompany – 7

Another good game from Kompany despite the ongoing madness at the back for City. Vincent was largely solid at the back with 6 clearances and 4 interceptions while also bagging himself a goal. His brilliant Pollock-esque own goal however was the highlight of his performance.

Demichelis – 7

Arguably Martin’s best performance in a City shirt after a few shaky performances. Demichelis offered a fantastic attacking threat all game through our set-pieces and played big part in Kompany’s goal. Also racked up an incredible 14 clearances.

Kolarov – 6.5

A typical Kolarov performance of late. Ventured forward and drilled in a few dangerous crosses that weren’t converted but also slightly meek at the back.

Fernandinho – 6

A very average performance from the Brazilian after a fantastic few months. Fernandinho hardly made any defensive contributions and kept everything simple. His late burst into the box also left City’s midfield exposed for Fulham’s second goal.

Yaya Toure – 7

Again a performance with little defensive contribution. Yaya however compensated for that with some great surges up front and anabsolute pearler of a free-kick.

David Silva – 8 – Man of the Match

Another top performance from Silva who now looks fully fit. David was a dynamite all game, winning the free-kick which Yaya converted and then playing an excellent through-ball to assist Jesus Navas during a crucial part of the game. He is the catalyst in this team.

Samir Nasri – 7

An great first half in which Nasri was outstanding attacking wise. Slightly more subdued the second, but still offered a more protective base for Clichy. He has been consistently good this season and long may it continue.

Dzeko – 6

A typical Dzeko performance without a goal. Struggled to make an impact and really should’ve scored at least once. Little signs his partnership with Negredo will bear any fruit.

Negredo – 8

Another top game from Alvaro Negredo. He seemed constrained by Dzeko’s presence and he livened up after his departure. Played a big role in two goals including a pass-of-the-season contender for Milner’s goal.

SUBS –

Jesus Navas – 7

A great cameo from the Spaniard who offered City’s a menacing option down ye right hand side. Took his goal very well too.

Milner – 6.5

Super sub Milner came on and finished Fulham off with a neat finish after a great surge into the box.

Garcia – 5

Brought on after the 4th goal to shut down the game.
