Stoke City 1 – Crouch (15)
Man City 1 – Garcia (35)
City continued their unbeaten start to the season after drawing 1-1 with Stoke at the Britannia Stadium.
City gave debuts to Javi Garcia, Scott Sinclair and Maicon and despite City starting the brighter in was Stoke who took the initiative.
Peter Crouch scored in controversial circumstances after it appeared he handled the ball on the way to finishing from close range.
Despite the setback, Javi Garcia scored after emphatically heading in a Carlos Tevez free kick.
City could have snatched the three points late on as Garcia had a header saved onto the post and Dzeko had a lob cleared off the line in what proved to be the last kick of the game.
Roberto Mancini and Scott Sinclair have given their thoughts on the game.
